For centuries archery was necessary for survive. Nowadays it is a trendy sport.
For equipment you need an arc, a bracer, a simmer and some arrows.
Archery is an outdoor sport.
For that there are different kinds of parkours, for example 3-D-Animal-Pakours or Target shooting.
Archery is independent on seasons. Everybody who is interested in it can do it. For nature interested
people it is an adventure to see animals in the wood. It is a healthy sport in the fresh air and you become fit. You can do this sport
for competition or just for fun.
The most important thing is
that nobody is standing in the danger zone. That means you must not stand in front of the archer. The equipment mustn't be damaged. You have to search for worn out arrows.
For the 3-D-Animal-Parkour you have to follow to some facts: Mostly there are three difficulties, one for beginners,
one for experienced and one for specialists. For every target
shooting there are three arrows available. If you hit the first arrow in kill
you get 20 points, if you only hit the body of the animal you get 16 points...)
For the Target shooting you need some other rules: You can train on fields or in the hall for competitions. There are different age groups, where you can take part, from students to seniors. The distance is different from 19 metres to 90 metres. The further you hit the middle, the more points you reach.
I did archery the first time when I was eight years old. In my hometown
Dorfstetten there is a very famous animal-parkour. It’s a big areal in the wood
which is 14 hectares. I like
the hobby because I can meet friends and have fun outdoor.
